We are investing personally and as an organization in helping women who have come out abusive and destructive situations to rebuild their lives. We give our time and a generous portion of our media resource proceeds to specific issues and programs. We call these our Healing Projects. We also encourage Spiritual Spa participants and friends to receive healing themselves and to help by sharing time, talents, resources and influence to assist others to step into the life they were created to live. We currently have three focus areas.
1) Healing from Sexual Abuse and Abortion - Depending on the statistics you read, it is possible that 1 in 3 women have suffered some form of sexual abuse and/or have had an abortion. Coming out of these situations can often affect our ability to live a healthy life. Some victims are walking around living somewhat normally, while hiding the pain inside and the impact behind the scenes. Others have had their lives devastated by addictions, isolation, divorce, inability to maintain healthy relationships or a job, loss of motherhood, etc. We are raising awareness and making it safe and OK for women to step into the healing process by offering confidential short-term and ongoing groups.
2) Selah Freedom House - A program to give rest, recovery and restoration to victims rescued out of human trafficking or destructive situations. Help us to help them restore their lives, one step at a time. Learn more, donate or get involved at www.selahfreedomhouse.org. This is a US based program.
3) The White Rainbow Project - A project to help widows in India who are stripped of their color, their home and their dignity simply because their husband dies. Many are shunned and end up destitute. Help us to help them get their color and build a new life. Learn more, donate or get involved at www.whiterainbowproject.org. This is an international program based in India.
We also want to encourage those who struggle with addictions that freedom and new life is possible. We recommend that those who are desire freedom, step into a Celebrate Recovery meeting or an Anonymous meeting in their local area.
