Suzanne Baker - Founder and Primary Teacher (Contact at suzanne.baker@spiritualspa.tv)
Suzanne is passionate about helping people to step into the life they were created to live. She has a gift for seeing who people can be and what they can do and encouraging them to step toward it. Her guidance always includes: get to know your Creator, invest in a committed group of spiritual friends, and turn to God to help you become your most healthy, loving and authentic self. The Spiritual Spa was founded in 2001 for this purpose. Suzanne’s teaching helps people come to know the heart of God and deal with real life issues and problems, using the life of Jesus and the Bible as the basis. Suzanne has been through a lot in life and in her personal search to know God; this experience is hallmark in her transparent and empathic teaching and counseling style. Whether she’s teaching alone or designing an event with several speakers, her background in music, theater and art are evident in the experience. Suzanne is a mentor to the next generation and to women with leadership, teaching and artistry gifts. She also has a heart for investing in people who have come out of abusive and destructive situations and are rebuilding their lives. Suzanne has a Master’s from Trinity Divinity School in Deerfield, IL and a rich background in leadership in the not-for-profit and business sectors, including experience as a change management and learning consultant to Fortune 50 and global professional services firms. She has lived most of her life in the Chicago area and now splits her time between Chicago, Florida, and Southern California. Suzanne cherishes her family and friends and loves great views, gardens with a gardener, power walks on the beach, golf, sailing, film, fashion, horses and dogs.
Cathy Grennan
Cathy's soulful voice and original, often spontaneous, songs change hearts in the moment. The deep cry of Cathy’s heart is to be used by God to breathe hope and new life into women and the next generation by sharing her personal struggles and victories over bulimia, addiction, divorce, co-dependency and depression. Cathy is a 1982 graduate of St. Mary’s College, Notre Dame where she began her music career by being invited to sing with the University of Notre Dame Jazz Band. Cathy has been a worship leader and singer for Celebrate Recovery, Willow Creek, and Spiritual Spa. She lives with her husband and two daughters in Barrington Illinois.

Freelance Writer and Speaker, MA, Clinical Psychology , Former Area Pastor at Willow Creek Community Church and Co-founder of Be Alive Ministry http://www.bealiveministry.com/, and Two Plus, a multi-denominational ministry in Chicago. Currently she is heading up the post-abortive healing ministry at Sarasota Medical Pregnancy Center. She is passionate about helping others choose freedom and walk into restoration and the full life Christ promised. She brings over 15 years of ministry and counseling experience. Elizabeth’s greatest joy is partnering with people and seeing the power of God awaken a life to a whole new level. She is relishing a new chapter in her own life with her husband and their three beautiful children in sunny Sarasota, Florida.
Krista Frauenholtz
Ever since her decision to follow Christ in college, Krista has had a passion to bring the message of God’s love and freedom to others. While their background has been in real estate and home building, Krista and her husband Darren have recently started Journey 61, a ministry whose aim is to help others recover from their past and to discover what they are created for. Her hobbies include painting (anything!), strong coffee & deep talks with friends, and long bike rides with the four kids and husband… oh! and of course, working in the garden.
Beth Rech
Beth has a passion to help women see who God created them to be. She loves to help women walk through the things that aren’t working right in their lives by helping them break off the false self and step into their true self in Christ – living in freedom and abundance! Beth loves the 20 something’s and has a few of her own; she has twin sons Josh and Chris and a daughter Kelsey who are amazing and they have taught and continue to teach Beth so much about living in trust, intimacy and freedom in Jesus. She has been married to Jeff (one of the most self-less and serving man she knows) for 26 years and lives in a suburb of Chicago. In 2006 she did a Master’s program in Spiritual Formation and received a 2 year certificate for that program from Spring Arbor University. Beth has 20 years of leading women’s groups and mentoring women. In her spare time she loves to travel (Africa grabbed her heart), loves to cook, read, dance, worship, and have deep conversations with friends.
Jenn's goal is to "change the world using flipcharts and graphs." She is an independent consultant with over 20 years of experience in the management and administration of nonprofit organizations, including four years working with the founder and board of Oasis Productions (the not-for-profit associated with Spiritual Spa). She focuses her efforts on clients whose missions include supporting women and girls through empowering and healing efforts. Jenn has a Bachelor of Arts in Communications/Public Relations from Northern Illinois University and a Master of Nonprofit Administration from North Park University. Originally from Chicago, Jenn now resides in Albany, New York. She loves office supplies, coffee, and just enjoying each day as it comes.
